Cancel LinkedIn Premium in 2026

Cancel LinkedIn Premium on the web or through Apple and Google Play billing - and keep Premium features until your paid period ends.

LinkedIn Premium can be cancelled from your LinkedIn account settings, unless you subscribed through a mobile app. In that case, Apple or Google Play manages the billing and the cancel button is not on LinkedIn.

LinkedIn Premium cancellation is usually smooth, but the page location moves occasionally and mobile subscriptions are handled by the app store. This guide covers both paths.

Cancel on the WebRecommended

  1. Sign in at linkedin.com with the account that has Premium
  2. Click "Me" at the top of the page
  3. Select "Premium subscription settings" from the dropdown
  4. Click "Manage Premium account"
  5. Under "Manage subscription", select "Cancel subscription"
  6. Follow the prompts to confirm

Cancel on iPhone or Android

If you subscribed through the LinkedIn mobile app, the billing is handled by Apple or Google Play. LinkedIn cannot cancel it for you.

Where to cancel LinkedIn Premium on a phone
Where you signed upWhere to cancel
iPhoneSettings → [your name] → Subscriptions → LinkedIn Premium → Cancel Subscription
AndroidPlay Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → LinkedIn Premium → Cancel

Downgrade Instead of Cancel

LinkedIn sometimes offers a lower-priced Premium tier during the cancellation flow. If cost is the issue but you still want some Premium features, look for a downgrade option before confirming the full cancellation.

What Happens After You Cancel

  • You keep Premium features until the end of the current billing period
  • Your account reverts to the free LinkedIn tier afterwards
  • Your profile, connections, and messages remain unchanged
  • InMail credits and advanced search filters stop when the period ends

Free Trials Convert Automatically

LinkedIn Premium free trials convert to paid subscriptions automatically. If you signed up for a trial, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid the first charge.

Quick Unsubscribe takes you straight to the cancel page for each service in your list, so professional subscriptions like LinkedIn Premium do not slip through.
