How to cancel subscriptions you forgot you had
Forgotten subscriptions can drain hundreds of euros a year. Here is how to find every active subscription and cancel the ones you no longer want.
Adobe's cancellation is not hard to find - the friction is financial. The company sells most Creative Cloud plans as annual commitments, and leaving one early triggers a fee that surprises a lot of people. Understanding the plan types is the whole game.
Adobe sells the same apps under three billing structures, and the cancellation cost is completely different for each:
If you cancel within 14 days of first buying or renewing a plan, Adobe refunds you in full with no fee. If you just got charged for a renewal you did not want, act inside that window - it is the cleanest exit and the one Adobe advertises least.
The Adobe fee is a clean example of why the renewal date matters as much as the price. An annual plan that auto-renews on a date you have forgotten locks you into another year - and another potential fee - before you have a chance to reconsider. A reminder a week before the renewal is the difference between choosing to continue and being committed by default.
